We are looking to recruit more coaches & assistants for our....

 

Supersport Saturdays/ Sundays  9:00am - 12:15pm

Coach & Assistant roles available

School Holiday Camps 8:00am - 4:30pm

Coach & Assistant roles available

Local extra curricular school sport clubs

(8:00am-8:45am or 3:30pm - 4:30pm any weekday)

Level 2 / 3 coaches ONLY for this role

​

Coach/ Assistant responsibilities

​

- To ensure the indoor and outdoor sport area is risk assessed before children arrive

- To set up football goals, basketball hoops, and prepare all  of the equipment required for 

   the session to run smoothly and safely on the day.

- To be a sports 'team leader' for up to 10 children aged 4-13

- To deliver/ help set up, run and deliver children's games and multi-skills activities 

- To educate children in sportsmanship and sport/game rules 

- To improve children's technical and tactical sporting ability

- To oversee children's break times and ensure they are playing safely

- To actively encourage the participation of all activities

- To motivate children of all abilities 

- To pack away all equipment at the end of the session

- To ensure all children have a fun, safe, and active session

Requirements, Qualifications and Experience 

​

- MUST be enthusiastic, very confident, self motivated, and passionate about

   delivering sport to young people

- MUST be reliable and have excellent time management skills

- MUST be able to work well within a team

- MUST be confident to work alone for a duration of time (Unless assisting)

- MUST be able to deal with a range of situations and pressures

- MUST be confident in reporting feedback to children's parents when necessary

- MUST have previous experience in teaching/ coaching/ assisting sport activities (Desirable for assistants but not a MUST)

- MUST hold a National Governing Body level 1 or above in a specific sport or have a

   multi-sports qualification (Desirable for assistants but not a MUST) 

- MUST be 16 years or older

- MUST be DBS/ CRB Checked - or at least be DBS checked and cleared by the time you start

- DESIREABLE but not a MUST - A first aid qualification (1At least 1 first aider will always be on site)

- DESIREABLE but not a MUST - Safeguarding children certificate (MUST for school coaches)

- DESIREABLE but not a MUST - transportation to Leighton Buzzard and Great Brickhill

Depending on your experience and qualifications the following pay is available:

 

Supersport Saturdays/ Sundays - up to £13.00 per hour.

Holiday Camps - up to £13.00 per hour

Level 2/3 coaches extra curricular before/after school clubs - up to £21.00 per hour

​

Potential to start as of March 2021 (Dependent on the Covid-19 climate closer to that time)

Successful applicants will be required to attend a short online zoom meeting with a supersports coach. You will also be required to coach/ assist a minimum of 1 trial lesson alongside a Supersports coach.
